Spectrum is the DLC’s Gay-Straight Alliance (GSA) club. We invite students in grades 9 to 12 who identify as queer, questioning, or as a rainbow ally to join us. We are here to support all students who have an open mind and are interested in queer topics.

Can I join the GSA Club?

Role in Spectrum (Staff advisor, Facilitator): Staff advisor and facilitator.

I am interested in being a safe person to turn to, and making sure that LGBTQ+ teens and youth are supported and treated with respect for being who they are. I also really like to explore queer-centred media—books, movies, tv shows, web comics, you name it.
